Vegan Garlic Bread (Gluten-Free)

Vegan Garlic Bread (Gluten-Free)

Ingredients

  • 1/2 baguette (ensure gluten-free if necessary – or sub any other bread)
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 garlic cloves , peeled and grated
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley (or 1 tablespoon finely chopped fresh parsley)
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt to taste

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius (350 degrees Fahrenheit)
  • Slice the bread in half both horizontally and vertically
  • Mix together the olive oil, garlic, parsley and salt in a small bowl
  • Place the pieces of bread on a baking tray and use a spoon or a pastry brush to brush the oil mixture on top of the bread – make sure to go right to the edges
  • Place the pieces of bread together with the oil-covered sides stuck together
  • Wrap each pair of bread pieces in baking paper or foil – make sure to wrap each pair individually so that the outer edges can get nice and crunchy
  • Bake for around 20 minutes until fragrant and the crusts are crunchy
  • Enjoy immediately!
