CLASSIC RHUBARB CRISP RECIPE

Ingredients

Rhubarb Layer

  • 4 cups of rhubarb cut into 1/2″ pieces
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/3 cup flour
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon

Topping

  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 1/2 cup old fashioned oats
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Heat oven to 375 degrees.
  2. Mix rhubarb, sugar, 1/3 cup flour and 1/2 tsp cinnamon in an 8″ x 8″ glass baking dish
  3. Mix butter, oats, 1 cup flour, sugar, salt and 1/2 tsp cinnamon in a medium bowl.
  4. Sprinkle topping over rhubarb mixture.
  5. Bake for 30 minutes – 35 minutes.
