Ingredients

Graham Cracker Pie Crust

  • 1 1/2 cups graham crackers, crushed (You can sub 1/2 cup of these with finely chopped walnuts or pecans or nuts)
  • 1/3 cups sugar
  • 6 tbsp butter, melter

Key Lime Pie Filling

  • 28 ounces sweetened condensed milk
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 3 egg yolks
  • 1/2 cup key lime juice
  • 1 tbsp key lime or lime zest

Whipped Topping

  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla

Instructions

Graham Cracker Pie Crust

  • Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
  • Mix graham cracker crumbs, sugar, and melted butter in a bowl until combined. Pour and press crumb mixture into 9.5 inch pie dish. Bake pie for 6 to 7 minutes. Cool for about 30 minutes.

Key Lime Pie Filling

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  • In a medium bowl, whisk together sweetened condensed milk, sour cream, egg yolks, key lime juice and lime zest until smooth and creamy. Pour into graham cracker crust and bake for 10 minutes.

Whipped Cream Topping

  • In a stand mixer or with electric hand mixer, beat heavy cream, sugar and vanilla until stiff peaks form. Spread or pipe whipped cream on chilled pie. If desired top with lime zest and serve.
